1961
Arnold Hendriks establishes Arnold Hendriks Building & Remodeling.

1978
Ron Hendriks & his brother have joined their father and the firm now becomes known as Arnold Hendriks & Sons Limited.

1986
Arnold Hendriks & Sons Limited becomes incorporated and Ron & his brother become shareholders. Because of its non-descriptive name, the operating name of Homes By Hendriks is adopted.

1990
Ron Hendriks & his brother buy their father’s shares of the company when Arnold enters semi-retirement

1993
Arnold Hendriks fully retires but remains an interested party in the family business.

2000
To maintain the integrity of the company, a buy-out ensues making Ron & Yvonne Hendriks sole owners of the family business. Ron’s brother launches an independent company with which Homes By Hendriks Inc. has no affiliation.

2002
Ron Hendriks receives provincial acclaim when he is named “Central Ontario Builder of the Year” by the Ontario New Home Warranty Program (Tarion Warranty Corporation).

2003
Ron Hendriks receives national acclaim through the National SAM Awards by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association recognizing him as one of the top five whole home renovators across Canada.

2006
To date, Homes By Hendriks Inc. has been awarded a total of twelve I.C.E. Awards through the Niagara Home Builders’ Association. These awards recognize the firm’s innovative, creative excellence in both the new home construction and renovation sector.

Today
Homes By Hendriks Inc. is a custom building firm best known for their upscale custom built homes and renovation projects. Ron, along with his wife Yvonne, and their team of associates, have mastered the process of home building and through their experiences, have successfully coined the concept of “the enjoyable building experience”. Homes By Hendriks Inc. has received multiple awards and recognition for their efforts in building homes of remarkable beauty and quality making them Niagara’s most award winning custom home builder.

Several members of the Hendriks family are involved in the residential building and housing industry, however, Homes By Hendriks Inc. has no affiliation with any of these firms. Ron & Yvonne Hendriks proudly carry on the family legacy established by Ron’s father in 1961.
